Description

This Mint State 65 is a solid grade for this collectible coin. 

Historically, these coins were struck on 90% silver planchets. Each coin contains .7734 oz. of silver bullion.

Design: George Morgan. He served as Chief Engraver of the Mint from 1917 until 1925.

Obverse: Portrait of Liberty.

Reverse: Heraldic bald eagle in the center of a laurel wreath. The motto “In God We Trust” is above the image in Gothic script.
