2OZ SILVER 2022 REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON ARCHANGEL – RAPHAEL ANTIQUED COIN

On the reverse is the Archangel Raphael depicted standing while grasping the hand of a child. He stands ready for battle with a long sword in hand, and his magnificent wings wrapped protectively around the child. The pair of wings are translucent glass insets, which are vibrantly colorized with shades of yellow and green to appear as stained glass. The image is encircled by lush foliage, with “ST. RAPHAEL” inscribed below.

The obverse shows the coat of arms of the Republic of Cameroon surrounded by an ornate border design with winged angel faces that is reminiscent of the window frames of a cathedral. The date “2022” is positioned above, flanked by stained glass wings. Additional inscriptions include “2000 FRANCS CFA,” “REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN” and “AG 999.” The distinctive “MW” Mint mark of the Mint of Poland is located near the national emblem
